JAEGER SOUND DESIGN
All of these sounds were created entirely from the original session recordings. No synths were used in the designing/making of these sounds.
This was a huge release for Audio Imperia. The brief for Jaeger was pretty much giant robots/scifi and dystopic. Big, mean, cinematic sounds. It was a bit of a challenge crafting all of these from the original recording session files but that is exactly why I do this. You would probably be surprised how much of these were made with drum sounds only.
Fun fact: You can hear the conductor of the recording sessions in the Mech SFX and some of the Mech Hits. I like to find and use elements of the recordings that weren't the actual focus of the sessions and in this case I used bits and pieces of him talking to the players.
